As many of my friends know, I recently traveled to Tanzania Africa and helped to bless the people there. The people, although dirt poor by American standards, are a happy people and an ambitious people. 

I met Estro and was deeply touched in my heart to help him get his eyes straightened. I am sure that the chance meeting was an act of God and may even have been the best reason for my trip there. My original thought was to have him come to America where my eyes were corrected at the Presbyterian - Columbia Hospital in New York City. I was born that way, 3 months premature. Estro, had a disease when he was one year old which his mother says left him this way. It is embarrassing for him.

 However, through modern communications, Estro and I found that it could be done in Tanzania for him with an operation in Dar Es Salaam. It is their biggest city and formerly the Capital. 

Estro upon my communication with him, went right to work getting a local eye exam, and contacting the eye hospitals in Dar Es Salaam. He came up with a plan and an in country cost. It is cheap by American standards. 

Although I am unable to presently meet his hoped for time table. I am asking that you help me to give him this Christmas present. Donations can be sent to:
