1 Chronicles 26:17

On the east were six Levites, on the north four a day, on the south four a day, and two by two at the storehouse.

Luke 10:1

Now after this the Lord chose and appointed seventy others and sent them out ahead of Him, two by two, into every town and place where He Himself was about to come (visit).

Hebrews 11:4

[Prompted, actuated] by faith Abel brought God a better and more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, because of which it was testified of him that he was righteous [that he was upright and in right standing with God], and God bore witness by accepting and acknowledging his gifts. And though he died, yet [through the incident] he is still speaking.

Hebrews 11:7

[Prompted] by faith Noah, being forewarned by God concerning events of which as yet there was no visible sign, took heed and diligently and reverently constructed and prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family. By this [his faith which relied on God] he passed judgment and sentence on the world's unbelief and became an heir and possessor of righteousness (that relation of being right into which God puts the person who has faith).

Hebrews 11:20

[With eyes of] faith Isaac, looking far into the future, invoked blessings upon Jacob and Esau.

Miracle Empowerment Conference Report

Dear Min. Bob,

PREPARING AND SAYING YES: I am so grateful for you and your prayers which helped me overcome the devils ways which tried to stop me at first. He even tried to bring a wall between me and a man that I admire, love,. respect and I believe vice versa. I am so glad the Holy Spirit gives me peace at times. The Carrs and others in my life prepared me for what was to come.

OUR HOSTESS:  Dericklyn Parker cannot be thanked enough. She met me as I interviewed her for TV several years ago.  Our Spirits were the same. It was the easiest interview that I had ever done. When she asked me to participate in this event I knew it was from GOD. I would not know until after participating how much faith and grace she really had. She and her mother MUST do these kind of things more often. I hope you support her Ministries in every way that you can.

TRIP PREP: Everything about this trip, was a trip of faith. GOD promises to reward that. It is a humanly uncomfortable feeling. God sent his disciples out two by two in the beginning, so I sought a traveling companion for my trip. Just like God it came at the last minute with Bill Mayers, Little would I know how similar we were. He was blessed and he blessed me! Many Christians call people like him, personal armor bearers. My last one left soon after the first shots were fired. I do not believe Bill ever would. We got along great and worked as a great team. Thank you Dericklyn for providing a format where I could get to know him more. ALSO: Just like God, Dericklyn said she would have a table for our wares. At the last minute GOD put it on my heart to order custom buttons to go with my presentation. They arrived in time. They say "I.M. FREE in the WHOLE WORD OF GOD" This is in response to the George Barna survey where only 9% of pastors know and are willing to preach the whole Word of GOD. We arrived hours early and without incident. I got to know Bill so much better and he, me. Both of our faiths grew.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The lady who checked us in to the Motel was a Christian. We prayed with her and encouraged each other. Dericklyn waa there with her mom. What a great place and room they provided. Many gifts came from them. All with a love and exceptional quality.

FIRST HOURS:  I was under the music of Insight to Mystery. I am sure we are to be together with them in Ministry. They touched my heart. I wept. I saw my brokenness with my Son, yet my need to continue in Ministry. No music group has touched me like they did. I promised them I would come when they needed an evangelist and vice versa. Does anyone have contact information for them? They did not have a card for me at the time. Dericklyn and her mom have some way with preaching and singing in such a soft way as I have never experienced before. I was allowed to pray for many as a supplement to them. GOD put it on me to pray and annoint people with oil. For some reason I missed Reeni Mederos. I felt bad, but GOD did not tell me to. The next day, HE showed me why and when. I believe I blessed her. I also believe that GOD allowed me to pray for many people's Spiritual needs which, with hands on, I sensed and put into words as best I could. I even was allowed to pray for a man who also had a dislocated finger. I felt the healing heat go out. Lynne Donnelly needs to be thanked for her prayers on my behalf here.

MY PRESENTATION: I tore up my presentation several times. Finally with a few rough notes and the Holy Spirits help I proceeded. Many people seemed quite interested. I gained many people to network with and to add to these emails. IT WAS MY INTRODUCTION BACK INTO PUBLIC MINISTRY. I was in contact with people back home who were praying for me and encouraging me.

OUR FINANCES: We stepped out in faith. Between donations from within and without trip expenses were paid. A full report will appear on our web site soon.

THE RETURN TRIP: Was not as easy as our trip down, but Bill and I pushed our way home Saturday night into the earliest hours of Sunday morning. I woke up long enough to make Church on Sunday morning. I did this,  not because I wanted to set an example, but because I wanted to be there. The choir missed me, but I ministered to them from the pews. I then added my contacts to this email list and the special one that I keep for special messages.

I hope that this report finds you well and encouraged.

New Every Morning

Dear Min. Bob,

Our preacher has gone on a 6 week sabatical, I believe, with Monks. He did this once before in his life and was restored to Ministry after wanting to quit. Fortunately for me, I have never had to do that in his way, yet have in my own and Christ's way.

You see I can go out in my back yard in the crispness of the morning and commune with GOD. I did so when deciding to go with Minutemen United and Operation Hurricane Katrina to New Orleans.

I'm a morning person, so it is easier for me. BUT we are all promised such hope, by Scripture because GOD is new every morning to us. His compassions NEVER fail. He is always ready to hear us, to hear our confessions, repentance and to give us comfort and guidance.

Go ahead. Put HIM to the test. Renew yourself this morning with HIM.

Hi Minister Bob,

I really appreciate your insight into this situation this morning!

I have seen similar statements about Robin Williams going to hell from Christians on Facebook.  How sad this rush to judgement is!  From what I understand, Robin Williams accepted Jesus as Lord during a stay at a rehab.  He was suffering from a disease that affects the mind and contributes to severe depression.  In any event, we are not God and I for one do not want to be casting any stones.  We need to operate in love and pray for his family as they go through this difficult time.

God bless,

Mike

Top Ten Reasons For Leaving A Church

Dear Min. Bob,

I try to keep up on the latest news on the Christian scene. The other morning, I read this article on the Top Ten Reasons why people leave Church. I found it interesting and easily correctable. Here is a summation of the reasons mentioned in the story:

10. People leave the church when they can't find community.
9. People leave the church because they need less drama in their lives.
8. People leave the church because of unresolved conflict.
7. People leave the church because of controlling leaders and unskilled teachers.
6. People leave the church because they're turned off by social climbing, cliches, and nepotism.
5. People leave church when they feel like they need to become a carbon copy of an individual or ideal in order to be fully included and appreciated.
4. People leave church because they are tired of being told how a "good Christian" will vote.
3. People leave church because they're looking for something authentic.
2. People leave church because they feel lonely.
1. People leave church when they don't find Jesus.

Now, combine this with the statistics, previously mentioned in the preaching of the Word on all topics and you get the picture.
You see then, we are leaving the Word in many, many ways including the application in our lives, the Church, and the Pulpit. Let us pray for the return to true Scripture and leadership in the Church.

1. Yet, we see that our sin is cleansed by Christ AND Christ is the Word (Jn. 1:1). When we leave the Word in how we conduct Church, we leave Christ. Now do you want to be in a Church that has left Christ?

2. A real friend does not "Rob, Kill or Destroy" you, even for money. Right? Well, most of these people who run Churches amuck of Scripture, have sold out for mammon and the love of it. Is that where a person should be going to Church?

3. Is the Lord continually before them, who do not follow HIS ways? How about the people who sit there and promote it?

My dear friend, these are hard answers in tough times. Those of us who have found a good Church need to share it more so with others as they are becoming more and more rare. BUT they will rise up before God as "lights on a hill", will they not? Which shall each of us encourage and pray for?

In the coming days, I will go down each of the top ten reasons through Scripture for a comparison of what God says regarding each of the reasons.

Acts 17:11-12

11 Now these [Jews] were better disposed and more noble than those in Thessalonica, for they were entirely ready and accepted and welcomed the message [[a]concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] with inclination of mind and eagerness, searching and examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. 12 Many of them therefore became believers, together with not a few prominent Greeks, women as well as men.

Acts 4:29-31

29 And now, Lord, observe their threats and grant to Your bond servants [full freedom] to declare Your message fearlessly, 30 While You stretch out Your hand to cure and to perform signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus.31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.

Acts 6:4

But we will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the Word.

Our Part in Failing Pastors

Dear Min. Bob,

As I write you, I am reading an article in Christian News regarding George Barna's recent survey of Pastors. 90% know what the Bible says and WILL NOT preach on it. In most worlds  (possibly except in government) 10% is a NOT a passing grade. It is a failure. CLICK HERE for the VERY DISAPPOINTING article.

By God incident, my dear brother Minister in Christ, James Pitts sent me a lesson on OUR RESPONSIBILITY. Jim has been bashed as much as I have for sticking to the Bible. His Scriptures appear at left.

The point is this. WE, you and me, THE PEOPLE IN THE PEWS ARE RESPONSIBLE for checking what we are taught against Scripture. Further, do you not believe in answered prayer? Well, WE are responsible there to. WE MUST pray, like they did in Acts for our leaders ... and look what the reward can be. If you want your leaders to feed you the real food of GOD and to have that freedom, YOU MUST pray for it!

Also, if we are silent, we are enablers. What do you think a Pastors job should be?  Acts puts it very simply. Ministers are to be in the "ministry of the Word, and of prayer". If you have your Pastor do anything else, the blame can be shared by the person in the mirror.

NOW, what does this all mean. My friends, if it gets any worse the day of Christ's return will be quite hastened. How do you feel about that? Would you like more time? PRAY! ACT! Hold the standards of Christ and remember He is the Word and the Word is HIM (Jn. 1:1) to leave the Word is to leave HIM.

15 Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one's own resources or in the stability of earthly things]-these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].

17 And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever. A Love That Keeps On Giving ?

Dear Min. Bob,

As you may know, John had a special relationship with JESUS.
His writings are different than the others. His Book is written for the purpose of you "knowing who JESUS is". His writings are full of different expressions of love.

Here he hits the nail on the head on the differences between loving the world and GOD. It is expressed very plain, very black and white. And the bottom line... the world will not last, but GOD will for y-o-u.

May this revelation today, drive us all the more toward HIM. May it help us to realize when we are getting too close to the world.

Retreat Reminder

Dear Min. Bob,

Ladies and Gentlemen, today I send you my mid- month reminder of the upcoming Christian Men's Retreat to be held in  Pennsylvania. It will involve Christian Men from a wide variety of Christian Churches. Real getting together like Christ wanted in John 17. Why did I include ladies? Because maybe you know of some man who needs this, even who you and a few others could sponsor?

It has plenty of good food, Christian lessons, relaxation, and fellowship at a fraction of the cost that you would pay in the world, yet with a multitude of benefits that you could NEVER have in the world. Things that you could leave with for life.

All you have to do is to pick up the phone and make arrangements with Michael Grimm 484-431-9336  or Jim Rolon 510-389-7510. The cost is amazingly Christian at just $70. and you only have to put half down now.

IF YOU ARE LOCAL TO ME, Jim Castorn and I will be taking a car pool from here. WE HAVE TWO MORE SEATS OPEN.  That is unless someone else wants to get in on the car pool Just get in touch with me. It is a 2 1/4 hr drive, mostly on I-84 for us.

When I was at my former Church we went on a Men's Retreat like this every year and now it costs more than twice the price of this one! This one is only $70. and all it takes is $35. to reserve a spot..

The theme is: "Putting On The Whole Armor of God"

What Drove Jesus and What Should Drive You?

Dear Min. Bob,

What drove Jesus? More often than not it was HIS love for us. Over and over "he had compassion for them" precedes a great healing or a great lesson. God tells us "without love" we are nothing. Like a "clanging gong or noisy cymbal' we make a lot of noise, but it goes no where.

Did you ever see a person that always dominates the conversation, yet all he talks about is himself? He is like a clanging cymbal to you, is he not?

So what ever we do in the name of Christ, as a Christian, we should do because we have great compassion for the people we are talking to, NOT for ourselves.

Now, Jesus said this before many healings. Did you ever have so much compassion for a person that you almost could feel his or her pain? What did you do with it. May I suggest you pray for them. Guess what God may surprise you and use you to heal that person!

Go ahead, try it. I double dare you! Christ's compassion also preceded many miracles. Don't be surprised at what can happen!

God Bless!
