Jesus prayed for unity (John 17). If we truly appreciate
Jesus and what He did for us, we will try to answer His last prayer before the cross. Remember, this was the prayer where He had "sweat drops of blood" because it was so intense. This event helps Jesus to answer that prayer with men from different backgrounds getting together to honor Him.

While many may see the man that gave them some Scripture and opportunity (me), they and you gave me much growth by the same token. I am just not a giver but the Lord blesses me with men such as these, back. The Retreat which was your brainchild and work gave me the “shot in the arm” needed for me to go forward in ministry. I was stagnant and over busy. Heck, I even missed giving several “daily” messages because I must be inspired to do so, and didn’t and wasn’t beforehand. Your event is always an up and up experience. What better to say that “i have grown and been recharged. Most of the men there contributed to it.
I pray for your protection, growth and success in the Lord Almighty.

I wanted to thank you for a very spiritually uplifting weekend. The men’s retreat this past weekend was awesome, and was far better than I had anticipated. The weekend really inspired me, has deepened my faith and has provided new direction to my walk. Not to mention that I met several people that I plan to keep in touch with.
I’m looking forward to next year’s retreat, if we do not see each other before.
