8 Points to Building The REAL Church of Christ

1. Christ is the Head of the Church
2. The Bible is it's rule book.
3. There are NO denominations in Christ
4. We are answering Jesus' prayer for unity. (Jn. 17)
5. Elders govern our Church with the assistance of Deacons
6. Our Church reflects the Church of Acts as close as is possible.
7. Membership is gained by being born again and baptized.
8. The Church is here to teach, heal, and love each other.
(Ie: No one should be hurt by the Church.)

Starting A Real Christian Church
10/1/14
It saddens me to hear of yet another person hurt by Christians or by a Church. Jesus did not intend it that way. The problem is that we are so far from the model of a Church in the Book of Acts that we are paying the price. I believe, in this modern world, that it is still possible, if we go by the Holy Word of God, ALL OF IT AND THAT ONLY, that a good, healing, not hurting, Church can exist. You can form one, or you can join my search for one. Below are articles from a study that I am having on this. Let me know how you feel. I would enjoy your feedback. I first make my statement, then dive into the Scriptures that lead me there.
Looking For Elders and Deacons
10/1/14
I believe that there are older men, the gray haired regiment, as I call them, Christians, that are willing to help God get a breath of fresh air in this day and age. Yes, there is a place for women also, and I will discuss that later. From times beginning the older men were used to run towns and cities and the Jewish Temples. This tradition was not dropped when Christ arrived and was used in the early Christian Church. In each Church there were Elders, (always plural) that ran the affairs of the Church. In Acts chapter 6 we see a change in their duties. The job was divided between the Elders and Deacons. The Elders were to exist for "A Ministry of Prayer and The Word". The more physical functions of this Spiritual organization, now were handed over and given to the Deacons.
