All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. (Proverbs 15:15)

If you are afflicted, you listen to the news and get discouraged. If you are of God, you listen to the Good News and are Merry because you have taken it entirely in. Take for instance this headline: 

“Justin Bieber Paparazzo Death: Photographer Hit by Car”

Here is a photographer, so greedy for some reason, that he or she would risk their life to get a picture of a celebrity.  This is what has happened to morality in our country. 

However for the Christian, viewing any death, we can be thankful for the life we have, the promise that we have and this can motivate us to bring more people to Christ than we may have so we can say “Oh death where is thy sting?”
